Elektron MachineDrum SPS-1uw Instrument Racks + Sample Pack

This pack contains over 90mb of samples from the Elektron MachineDrum SPS-1uw (some are high quality 24bit 96k and some not). Included in the download are three different racks, all similar and inspired by the original Elektron Machine Drum SPS-1. “INSPIRED BY”… means they are not designed to perfectly EMULATE the REAL SPS-1, they are more designed to incorporate some of the features and work flow ideas found on the hardware version. These racks are NOT a $5 dollar replacement for a $2000 dollar drum machine, though they ARE truly inspiring, fun and very useful music making tools, with loads of sonic potential.

Why 3 versions and what is what?

• v1 is the first generation, light on CPU, practical and useful.
• v2 second generation, much more tweakability + FX routings (closer in concept to the real SPS-1) but not so light on CPU.
• v3 third generation, this one is pretty much exactly like “v1″ with a slightly different configuration to allow for more macro knobs. Still light on CPU.

Each of the three racks contain 16 samples. You’ll find a folder in the .zip file named “MachineDrum SPS-1uw Samples” which contains the remaining of the 90MB worth of samples included in the pack. Use these to replace the samples in each rack to build your own custom SPS-1 drum kits.
